With billions of dollars’ worth of treasure lost along the Florida coast, for the first time, Seafarer has all the necessary permits, team, equipment, and research to be successful. The Melbourne Beach, Florida shipwreck was neither found nor salvaged by the Spanish in 1715 and today it awaits recovery. Seafarer plans to identify as many historically important wrecks, fact check them against historical records, locate the ship’s final resting place, and perform archaeologically sensitive recovery on as many ships as the company can for years to come.
